Community is a Garden:Families and Providers Partnering for Prevention

Lived experts and family voice can help caseworkers and providers understand the challenges that bring families into child welfare systems, and the best ways to offer compassionate interventions and upstream, preventative services and supports. This session includes a Family Voice Panel, with 4 individuals who have experienced child welfare and family support systems and have found resilient outcomes. Attendees will also get a chance to talk with one another in a Community Café-style discussion. Attendees will come away with a stronger understanding of the Protective Factors that help keep families and children safe and stable.
