Breaking Barriers and Avoiding Burnout in Special Victims Case Part 1

This workshop candidly explores the challenges that arise from working within the trauma specific to SVU cases and the effects on those who handle them. Participants will discuss recognition and prevention of burnout and be provided strategies to build preventative measures into team dynamics. This workshop also serves as a platform for participants to open up about barriers to successfully juggling day-to-day duties, on and off the job, & normalize the emotional/mental toll of these unique cases.
