Belonging Starts with Me: Strategies to Increase Belonging Among Staff
This session equips leaders and staff with research-backed strategies to strengthen belonging by understanding and integrating two essential dimensions: vulnerable authenticity and supportive environments. Participants will explore how personal behaviors (openness, trust, and voice) interact with organizational practices (psychological safety, shared power, and relational norms) to shape workplace culture. Using the Belonging Matrix framework, this session moves beyond awareness into practical strategies that reduce ambiguity and exclusion while increasing connection, engagement, and collective efficacy among staff.
