Supporting Young Adults and Families to Access Safe and Stable Housing
Many of the young adults and families involved in the child welfare system lack safe, stable, adequate housing. If you are unsure what housing options are available to those you work with, we invite you to join us to learn about the Child Welfare Housing Program, and the Foster Care Housing Program operated by DCYF in partnership with public housing authorities and community-based providers. We will also share information about supports available through other systems and agencies across Washington State including the Department of Commerce, and the Department of Social and Health Services to assist young adults and families to access the housing they need to be successful.
