Protecting Your Children: Internet Safety Training

The average youth spends 5+ hours a day on social media, including YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. 1 in 3 young people say the people they meet online are among their closest confidants.

Our team has worked with many cases where children and youth were interacting with sexual predators online, and their parents had no idea. This training was created to fill gaps in understanding for parents, professionals, and other community members when it comes to internet safety for kids.

This training is designed to educate adults on
the following:
* Statistics and prevalence of online
offenses against children and youth.
* How offenders gain and maintain access
to kids online.
* Recognizing warning signs that an
offender is targeting a child.
* How to best respond to concerns of
internet risk and promote safe usage.
* Correct terminology and increased
confidence to have conversations with
youth about internet safety.
